Public Affairs-Habitat Destruction and Homeland Security audio stories: 8-1-20

I produced a stories about Habitat Destruction and Homeland Security on  Pacifica/KPFA Saturday Evening News
Here’s a comment from a listener - To KPFA Saturday Evening News Team:
I find myself drawn more and more to KPFA’s Saturday weekend news because of the amount of substantive, hard, news and issues and interviews (without puff, Trump stuff, and statue antics) programmed into the small news frame of 30 minutes. War and peace, oil and war weaponry and manufactured enemies; bio germ labs, human incursion into wildlife habitats, individual human action and public officials' nefarious connections and policy all directly linked to conditions and crises in public health and welfare. Not a nanosecond of air time wasted! This is the kind of hard news, issues programming that is essential to an informed and enabled democratic body politic. Being in the east, I listen a day later to the archived edition; and this Saturday the 25th of July was an outstanding and thoroughly appreciated example of high quality (US English language) news production and presentation. Thank you, indeed! Keep it coming!

Normally, federal government purchases come with detailed contracts, replete with acronyms and identifying codes. They require sign-off from an authorized contract officer and are typically made public in a U.S. government procurement database, under a system intended as a hedge against waste, fraud, and abuse.
